KEREI (SHAMAN)
In Mentawai, Kerei come from Sitakigagailau's

Function
There are two Kerei's functions, first appointing of new Kerei and heal the sick

In Mentawai, Kerei doing white magi (white magic) to investigate disease's reason with purpose
to determine that medicine. While that does evil action (black magic) was called with Pananae,
man or lady. While their victim was called with Taekakenen.

Mentawai Islands).
